Night of Heritage: a Night at the Museum in CEBU

Disclaimer:I really am no good writer so please pardon me for the grammar and spelling.

Did you know that there will be a real Night at the Museum in Cebu? According to my source, the participating museums will be open from 6 pm til midnight on May 29, 2009. And in each museum, you’ll get to taste free food and drinks, watch live performances and cultural presentations, and see various heritage pieces on display.

Yepey, yepey, yepey.. for only a hundred pesos you get to experience all these things. And if you add 50 pesos to your ticket, you get to ride a kalesa to and from any of the said museums!

The Night at the Museum is actually the “Night of Heritage”. “Gabii Sa Kabilin” in Cebuano.

See you…..see you…. see you… see you there… and Kudos to you Ley

There is food available for our Gabii sa Kabilin visitors at some venues at minimal downtown prices but it’s not free.

For example, Casa Gorordo Museum in partnership with Shangri-La Resort & Spa will set up a booth that will sell food like stir-fried beef for below Php 100 (one hundred pesos) and a juice for only twenty to thirty pesos. There will also be a few neighborhood people outside very near Casa Gorordo selling food like Siomai. So it’s really a great deal and you’ll be helping people in our community by coming out to Gabii sa Kabilin 2009. Just wanted to let everybody know.

Hope to see all of you at Gabii sa Kabilin 2009. – Jerry Martin Alfafara, PR for Gabii sa Kabilin (Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc.)
